Soft-ground etching and transfer printed in dark brown on greenish grey China paper laid down on heavy wove paper. Image platemark: 42.4 x 48.7 cm (16 11/16 x 19 1/8 inches), Sheet: 54.8 x 67.5 cm ( 21 9/16 x 26 3/4 inches. Signed in pencil by the artist at top right of the image, with pencil notation and signature by the printer Felsing in lower left margin, a good early impression from the finalized plate, Knesebeck notes only 3 impressions of this state located, with wide margins, in good condition aside from mat lines and some minor soiling in the margins.
